Arví Park is an Open-Air Natural reserve park located 13 miles outside Medellín northeast of the city. There you’ll find a green lung filled with Cultural events, natural scenarios, recreation and gastronomy
This beautiful flora and fauna sanctuary has territories with pre-Hispanic hydraulic developments, platforms, roads, plantations and irrigation canals.
The park covers an large area which is a fog forest ecosystem and the habitat of more than 700 species, including plants, mammals, birds and reptiles. There’s so much diversity that there are walking paths specialized in Orchids, Anthuriums and Bromeliaes as main feature.
The different parts composing Arví Park like Comfama and Confenalco provide appropriate space for family activities, camping, picnic and bbq. It’s also a place for remembrance of our roots and preservations of native species.
You can’t miss the Farmers Market which provides a better quality of living for the área inhabitants. Here; Wood, ceramics, leather and precious stones handicrafts are transformed and you can delight with the local gastronomy which testimonies that our cultural legacy still alive.
Come and enjoy the forest, appreciate fresh waters, delight with the landscaped and breathe fresh pure air. All in a particula place which invites to do touristic, cultural, recreational and sportive activities.
