This is a museum and an open door house to memories and stories, to reflection and conscience about acts that have happend in the past and have marked the present.
The house museum contributes to the construction of a plural memory about the armed conflict and its associated violence, to understand what is currently happening in our society, strengthen life, find again hope, believe in future and transform. Different to other memorial museums in the world that worry about finding ways to reconcile the country with its war past, this ‘Casa de la Memoria’ museum worries about the memory of a conflict that is still going on .
